This morning, Iā€™m cheering on my daughter and her lacrosse team as they warm up for their first game. Itā€™s going to be a fun weekend watching these girls show up, support each other, and do what they love. Being a mom means a lot of early mornings, full calendars, and figuring out how to be there for the moments that matter. And honestly? A weekend reminder of what really matters. šŸ©µ Cele A weekend reminder of what really matters. šŸ©µ Celebrating a longtime friend as she was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame. Spending time walking along the harbor with amazing women. And keeping our familyā€™s annual pumpkin-patch tradition alive in the Santa Ynez Valley. Three different moments, but each one reminded me how much the people in our lives and the memories we make together matter. Life gets busy. We have work to do, people to care for, and a never-ending list of things waiting for us. But these are the moments I want to make room for. Celebrating the people we love. Connecting with women who inspire us. Making memories with our families while the traditions are still ours to enjoy. As a photographer, I spend so much time helping other families preserve their stories. Iā€™m reminding myself, too, to be present in my own. You are allowed to celebrate the progress nobody else sees, the things youā€™ve overcome, and the person youā€™re becoming.
