Motivation Monday.

Lately, I’ve been reminded how powerful it is to be surrounded by women.

I’ve been invited into new groups of women business owners and moms, sitting with them, walking with them, having lunch with them and getting to know their stories. Every time I do, I’m reminded that strong women are everywhere.

They are building businesses.
They are raising families.
They are showing up for their communities.
They are encouraging each other.
They are figuring it out as they go.

And this week, I’m spending a few days on a mother-daughter trip with no structured calendar, just a few hopes and ideas of places we’d love to see.

Maybe colleges.
Maybe cool locations.
Maybe great places to eat.
Maybe a few stores to wander through.

The days are ours. No clock. No perfect order. No requirement to do it all.

And honestly, I love these trips.

I love the space they create for conversation, laughter, discovery and memories that happen when we aren’t rushing to the next thing.

So today, I’m celebrating the strong women I know, the strong women I’m meeting and the strong woman I’m raising.

Simply Me: Kids & Pets Edition. 🐾✨

There is something so special about the way children love their pets.

The giggles. The gentle snuggles. The proud smiles. The little conversations only the two of them seem to understand.

Whether it’s their dog, cat, bunny, chicken, goat, alpaca, horse, turtle, favorite stuffie or, like last year, an amazing gecko, these are the relationships that tell such a beautiful story about who your child is in this moment in time.

That’s what Simply Me: Kids & Pets Edition is all about.

It’s about capturing your child’s personality, their connection, their confidence, their tenderness, their silliness and the bond they share with the creature or companion they love most.

And this year, selected images from these sessions will be featured in our fall exhibit, where each child will be celebrated like a VIP and honored all month long. 💛

Did you come to the exhibit last year?

Now is the time.

I’m photographing the limited spots for the exhibit now, and I would love to create something meaningful for your child.
