Today we remember. 🇺🇸
This morning we visited the cemetery to place a flag on my great uncle’s grave. He was one of the brave young men who fought in the early waves at Normandy… and somehow made it home. He went on to live a quiet, humble life, never asking for attention or praise.
More recently, I visited Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Illinois, and the peacefulness there brought me right back to our time at the Normandy Cemetery. Row after row, story after story… sacrifice, courage, love, and lives forever connected to history.
Today isn’t just about a long weekend. It’s about remembering those who served, those who sacrificed, and the families who carry their memories forward.
We remember.
We thank you. ❤️🤍💙

There’s something so sweet about the bond between a child and the pet they love. 🐾

The giggles. The snuggles. The little routines only they understand. The way a child lights up when their dog, cat, bunny or favorite furry friend is nearby.

That connection is exactly why I created Simply Me: Kids & Pets Edition.

I’ve always loved animals, and I know how much they become part of the family story. These sessions are designed to celebrate your child just as they are right now, with the pet who makes their world even more joyful.

If you’ve been thinking, “Oh my goodness, my child would LOVE this,” this is your sign.
