Today we are supporting our daughter, San Marcos High School, and other girls’ lacrosse teams at a clinic hosted at Cate School while standing on the sidelines, cheering them on, and being reminded how powerful it is to simply show up for one another.

I’m grateful for a business and a life, built on connection, intention, and trust. For clients who value the experience as much as the images. And for communities that lift one another up in big and small ways.

Here’s to another week of creating thoughtfully 🤍

One of my favorite parts of this project is capturing dogs exactly as they are, the goofy ones, the serious ones, the shy ones, and the ones who absolutely know they’re the star.

Pooch Playoffs is that opportunity and your dog is entered in a March Madness style bracket. Each session celebrates your pup and helps support Care4Paws through donated session fees.

Today I want to pause and shine a light on something that truly matters to me 🤍

This is a moment from my time with Julia at the Care4Paws mobile clinic here in Santa Barbara, an organization doing incredible work to provide medical care, support, and second chances for animals in our community.

This is why Pooch Playoffs exists.

When you participate, your dog isn’t just getting photographed, your session fee is donated directly to Care4Paws, helping them continue this vital work where it’s needed most.

Over the years, together we’ve raised over $8,000, and seeing the impact firsthand is a powerful reminder of what happens when creativity, community, and compassion come together.

If your dog is part of your family (and I know they are), participating in Pooch Playoffs is a meaningful way to celebrate them while giving back to animals who need care and advocacy.

Fridays feel like a pause.

A chance to slow down, look back at the week, and remember why we do the work we do.

I photograph people in real seasons of life, not because everything is perfect, but because it’s meaningful right now. The ordinary days, the small connections, the moments we don’t realize we’ll miss.

My hope is always that the experience feels easy, comfortable, and true to who you are, whether that’s for your family, your business, or yourself.
