Teaching iPhone Photography

In the past few years, I have taught my husband what I look for, what features I use and let him develop his own style.  He now loves taking and editing pictures on his phone and loading them to his instagram account.  His focus is more of cars and nature, he loves getting pictures of our daughter and our crazy dogs and during covid- our baking creations.  These are special moments to capture that happen anytime!  He even entered the international Shoot and Share competition this year and did really well in the voting.  Since our daughter asks for our phones to take pictures as well, I have begun teaching her some things to look for. I want her to develop her personal style as well!

If you are ready to Hire a photographer

I am still doing sessions for clients but how I do them has changed…safety and comfort for all of us is most important, so I have changed my sessions to be “social distance” sessions.  I am making sure we have a thorough zoom consultation meeting to get to meet and know each other..what we normally do in person.  We pick our location, decide if I need to bring anything.  For distance newborn sessions. I have the same clothes, headbands, hats, ties that you have the option to use at my studio session.  Together we will pick out some options over the zoom meeting.

Items coming in contact with your child, you will have the option of me delivering and you washing and bringing to the session.  For newborn sessions I send you some video links to prepare for the session and at the session.  During the session I stay back while you handle, position your baby with my verbal direction and some charade motions.  I wear my mask and use my zoom and keep you at distance from anyone else at the location.  I have been doing this type of session for all sessions; newborn, family, headshots, maternity and couples.  As always, I would like to focus on the connection between you, the candid moments and your interaction.  Even with Covid, I want you to relax and feel the joy.
